Alleviates pain: Some cancer treatment or even the cancer itself can cause chronic pain, including; neuropathic pain, joint pain or muscle stiffness. Acupuncture can help to ease pain offering a drug free way to reduce discomfort.
Reduce Nausea and Vomiting: Different cancer treatments can leave patients feeling extremely nauseous or even cause vomiting. Acupuncute can help to calm and abate these uncomfortable feelings and calm the digestive system.
Ease Fatigue: Cancer related fatigue is one of the most common side effects reported by patients. Acupuncture can help to boost natural energy levels, by promoting better circulation, improved sleep and balancing the body’s natural flow of energy.
Supports emotional wellbeing: Navigating a cancer diagnosis and then treatment can lead to lots of stress, anxiety, worry and depression. Acupuncture has a calming effect on the nervous system and helps to reduce stress and anxiety while enhancing mood.
Improves immunity: Some cancer treatments can significantly lower the immune system leaving patients more susceptible to infections and illness. Acupuncture can help to naturally support and strengthen the immune system.
